Nicholas Magrisso

President and Founder

Nick Magrisso is the President and Founder of Optimal Strategies. Nick brings extensive experience in legislative advocacy, policy development, communications strategy, coalition management, and donor advising. Prior to founding Optimal Strategies, Nick worked for Civitas Public Affairs Group, a nation-leading public affairs firm. Nick also served as the Midwest Legislative Director for the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), where he led NRDC’s legislative and statehouse advocacy campaigns for climate and clean energy-related policies in Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Ohio, and Missouri. Currently, Nick continues to advance climate and energy solutions through his work with Energy Foundation, one of the nation’s leading clean energy philanthropies.
